Your adventure begins with a prompt 8 AM pickup from your accommodation in Nairobi or from the Airport. Settle into your comfortable vehicle and embark on a picturesque drive towards Amboseli National Park renowned for its stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Along the way, soak in the changing landscapes and anticipate the wildlife encounters awaiting you. Upon arrival at Amboseli, check into your lodge or camp for lunch and relaxation to energize for the afternoon activities.

At 4 PM, embark on an exciting evening game drive safari with our experienced guide. Amboseli National Park is home to some of the largest elephants in Kenya making it a prime destination for elephant enthusiasts and researchers. In addition to elephants, Amboseli is home to a wide variety of wildlife including lions, cheetahs, leopards, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes and wildebeests among other wildlife. As the sun sets, return to your accommodation for dinner and overnight rest.

DAY 2 : FULL DAY IN AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK

DAY 3 : AMBOSELI – LAKE NAIVASHA – NAKURU

Following a hearty breakfast, bid farewell to Amboseli and embark on the next leg of your journey towards Lake Naivasha. En route, enjoy a scenic drive through the Kenyan countryside, with lunch served along the way. In the evening discover Lake Naivasha where you can have an optional tranquil boat ride and nature walk experience amidst the serene waters and lush vegetation.

Lake Naivasha is home to a large population of hippos, which can often be seen basking along the shores or swimming in the shallow waters. A boat safari will offer you the opportunity to observe these massive mammals up close, along with other wildlife such as zebras, giraffes and many other antelope species that come to the lake to drink. Following the boat ride, continue your journey for about an hour to Elementaita-Nakuru where you’ll check in for dinner and spend the night in comfort, reminiscing about the day’s adventures.

DAY 4 : FULL DAY LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK

Rise and shine to another exciting day of wildlife exploration, this time in Lake Nakuru National Park. After breakfast, set out on a full day safari within the park packed with picnic lunch boxes for a day of uninterrupted wildlife viewing. Located in the Great Rift Valley, the park is renowned for its stunning landscapes and diverse wildlife. The park is home to one of the largest concentrations of black rhinos in East Africa as well as a significant population of white rhinos.

Discover the park’s diverse landscapes from wooded grasslands to the shimmering lake shores, In addition to flamingos, Lake Nakuru is a haven for birdwatchers with over 450 bird species recorded and other wildlife species. Within the park you can explore Makalia Falls, a picturesque waterfall that cascades over rocky cliffs into a tranquil pool below. As the sun sets over the horizon, return to your lodge for dinner and overnight recounting the day’s thrilling encounters amidst the beauty of Nakuru.

Masai Mara is renowned for its high concentration of predators including lions, leopards and cheetahs. You can take to the skies with a hot air balloon ride safari that will see you soar above all of the action. Your exploration of the Masai Mara continues with another full day of game drives. After a hearty breakfast embark on exhilarating game drives through the reserve’s diverse landscapes, your guide will make the arrangements for your picnic lunch boxes to maximize your time in the wilderness. Masai Mara is home to the Big Five; lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards and rhinos, offering you excellent experience to spot these majestic animals during game drives and guided safari.

Beyond its wildlife, Masai Mara boasts stunning landscapes, including rolling plains, meandering rivers, and picturesque acacia trees dotting the horizon. Perhaps the most famous event in Masai Mara is the annual Great Wildebeest Migration between July and October, where millions of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles migrate from Tanzania’s Serengeti National Park to Masai Mara in search of fresh grazing land. At 4PM you return to your lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight rest recounting the day’s encounters.

DAY 8 : MASAI MARA – NAIROBI.

Payment Conditions

Explorers Wild Adventures accepts no responsibility for the progress of the confirmed services in the case of non-compliance to the following conditions of payment. The company recommends that you secure your booking  with a deposit of at least 30% of quotation to confirm the safari with the full balance of payment being due to Explorers Wild Adventures 25 days prior to departure date. Upon receipt of final payment the company will issue all relevant travel documents with fully confirmed status.

Cancellation Policy

Following your confirmation of the file, cancellation will result in the invoicing of cancellation fees according to the following schedule. Please note that we have no choice but to be very strict in the application of this clause. Several establishment in Africa apply cancellation clauses far stricter than ours, particularly in the event of an entire group cancelling. Where this is the case their clauses will apply rather than ours.

All cancellations must be made in writing to Explorers Wild Adventures. Please ensure you receive written confirmation that your cancellation has been received by us. All cancellations will be charged a cancellation penalty depending on the number of days before tour departure as shown above.

General Conditions

• According to the current use in our destinations, check-in in the hotels takes place from 14h00 and check-out before 11h00 in the morning.
• Quotation established subject to availability of hotels (and flights when applicable) following your confirmation.
• Except if otherwise indicated in our proposal, the validity of all rates exclude Peak Season. During Peak Season (Easter and Christmas/New Year) a supplement of aprox. 25 USD per person per day must be added. Exact supplement available on request.
• Taxes currently 14% but might resuly in price revisions in the case of fluctuations in the applicable rates.
• Our rates do not include personal extras and expenses, gratuities, or insurance for repatriation assistance, luggage or cancellation.
• Our rates do not include entrance visas (Kenya: 50 USD, Tanzania: 50 USD . Consult your nearest Embassy for details).
• International, domestic and regional flights in the programme are not included in the rates, except if otherwise specified in the quote.
• Our rates do not include airport taxes.

Important Information.

a). Specific accommodation described may not always be available. In the event of this happening, Explorers Wild Adventures will always recommend comparable alternative accommodation. It is then the decision of the traveller to accept or decline this alternative accommodation prior to committing to the deposits and pre-payments.

b). Tour costs are based on all known costs at the date of quotation. Any significant changes beyond the control of Explorers Wild Adventures will be passed onto travellers. Once a final quotation has been given by Explorers Wild Adventures and the same has been accepted on behalf of the client and the tour arrangement has been paid for as per our payment terms, then no additional charges and/or surcharges will be levied.

c). Explorers Wild Adventures reserves the right to alter any arrangements due to local conditions. Explorers Wild Adventures also retains the right to refuse any person from participating on or continuing on any tour for any reason or if that person causes or is deemed to cause hazard or inconvenience to other passengers or to Explorers Wild Adventures.

d). The company will not be responsible for any lost or delayed baggage, resulting from travel with an international scheduled airline.

e). Generally travellers in Africa using charter aircraft services to facilitate travel from one destination to another are limited to a baggage allowance of 33lbs/(15kgs) per passenger. This includes camera equipment and carry on baggage. It is important that this baggage is packed in lightweight duffel type bags.

h). Explorers Wild Adventures is not responsible for any changes in airline schedules, airfares, cancellations, loss or damage to baggage and overbooking. All claims for any loss or injury suffered on any airline must be made directly with the airline involved.
